Assignment #12

Image
On my last assignment, I made beat by beat, instrument by instrument, a soundtrack for my stop motion. Using garage band, I started with precussion, added vocals, and then made a groovy beat to put behind my video.

Assignment #11

This assignment started with taking 60+ photos. For me, the hardest part of this project was getting creative enough to come up with an idea to shoot. I decided to use some of my sorority letters that were laying around and some fake flowers. I snapped frame after frame to come up with this stop motion. The I used Adobe Animate to create my stop motion. I put in each photo, made sure they were all the same size and length and the video ran smoothly.

Assignment #10

While working on this assignment, I thought it was really cool to be able to see myself transition. I used my sassy Kindergarten photo and had it transition to a photo taken in high school. I thought this was interesting to see how my face shape and natural hair color has changed so much! I also found the program really easy to use as it is very similar to other programs such as imovie. Overall this project was very simple and hard to mess up.

Assignment #9

This assignment was one that I was most excited to do as I love art. I chose Mona Lisa and then cropped my face. I then morphed my face onto Mona Lisa. I then edited the color to make it look more realistic and then took part of the background and placed it over my face to make it more realistic and detailed. Lastly, I cropped the shadows on the original painting to fit over my face in this painting. Overall I could have spent more time with the detail of the paint strokes on my face.

Assignment #8

For assignment #8, I decided to use a photo of me sitting and use a beach photo off of google. I wanted to make me look as if I were sitting on the beach. I started by cutting out my body, then morphing it to look as if I were sitting on the palm tree. I then tried to edit the lighting to make it look a bit more realistic. I could have spent more time blurring the edges and making it look a bit more natural.
